Attorney David James was on hand to help with the ribbon cutting ceremony for a new section of Green Circle Trail. The North Central Conservancy Trust (NCCT), the Green Circle Trail, and the City of Stevens Point have collaborated to purchase, manage, and protect a five-acre property near Bukholt Park, as well as a two-acre island in the Wisconsin River. There is also an interpretive sign along the trail that was created and installed with grant funds from the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin. This new section is a wonderful addition to the twenty seven mile Green Circle Trail system. Attorney James was the President and is currently a board member of the NCCT.
