The United Way of Portage County honored Attorney Ron Skrenes with an award for his dedication to the community. Ron received the Tina Peters Dedicated Service Award, which is presented to an individual who has shown exemplary passion and compassion to the residents of Portage County.Ron has served twice on the United Way Board, first from 2004 to 2009, and then again from 2011 to the present. During these Board tenures, he has served on the Finance, Endowment and Executive Committees, and he was Board president in 2012.
In addition to being one of this community’s most well-respected attorneys, Ron is also a licensed certified public accountant, a certified financial planner and an estate planning law specialist. He has also been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” based on peer recognition and professional achievements. Super Lawyers recognize the top 5% of active attorneys in each state.
