Ronald T. Skrenes, Partner
"I enjoy working with clients to develop practical and effective solutions to address their business and estate planning needs. I believe it is important for an attorney to explain how the law applies to a client’s facts and what options and alternatives are available, so he or she may make an informed decision.”
Mr. Skrenes is a business attorney who represents large, middle-sized and small businesses located throughout central Wisconsin. He has been directly involved in the largest merger and acquisition transactions in Portage County. As an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, he understands the complexities and the tax ramifications of business transactions. His business law services include general business law, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ron is one of only five attorneys in Wisconsin who have achieved the Estate Planning Law Specialist designation. Ron is the only attorney in Wisconsin who simultaneously holds designations/certifications as an (1) Attorney, (2) Certified Public Accountant, (3) Accredited Estate Planner, (4) Certified Financial Planner and (5) Estate Planning Law Specialist. Consumers' Research Council of America has also listed Ron in its guide as one of America's top financial planners. Consumers' Research Council of America, a Washington, D.C. based research organization, provides consumers' information guides for professional services throughout America.
Ron provides a full range of estate planning services (including sophisticated tax strategies) for large and medium-sized estates. His estate planning services include: wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable) property agreements, powers of attorney, advance care directives, buy-sell agreements, business succession planning, procedures to avoid probate and tax saving techniques.
