Donna Ginzl graduated from UW-Eau Claire, magna cum laude in 1990 and received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1994. She has extensive trial experience in central Wisconsin as an Assistant State Public Defender working in Portage, Waupaca, Wood and Adams Counties. She utilizes her courtroom skills representing clients in civil trials and family law matters.
Donna is a member of the Family Practice and Litigation Sections of the American and Wisconsin Bar Associations and is Vice President of the Portage County Bar Association. She is also a Board member of Justiceworks, Ltd., a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the advancement of restorative justice programs in Portage County, and a Board member of Family Connections, a nonprofit organization which provides child-centered activities, resources, education and support for families in Portage County.
Donna is also very involved in our community. Through the years, she has coached her daughter’s softball team, volunteered in her children’s classrooms and school activities, and acted as a parent representative for her daughters’ dance classes. She is an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and for approximately two years, coordinated blood drives for the American Red Cross at her church.
