  Attorney Brian Formella

Brian has a strong legal background in employment, labor and municipal law.  He works with employers to establish sound employment practices.  He has also aggressively defended employers against discrimination accusations.

Brian obtained his undergraduate degree from Marquette University, where he majored in English and Economics.  He continued his education at Marquette and received his law degree in 1985, graduating with honors.  While attending Marquette, he wrote articles for the Marquette Law Review. Before joining the firm, Brian gained legal experience as a clerk for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  He also served as assistant district attorney and corporation counsel for Portage County, Wisconsin, from 1992-1998.  In 2002, he became a partner of the firm.

Brian serves his clients and his community.  He is a member of the Portage County Legal Aid Society helping people with financial challenges find appropriate legal advice.  He is also the President of the Stevens Point Area Human Resource Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Stevens Point Area YMCA and on the Stevens Point Girls’ Fastpitch Board of Directors.

Brian’s goal is to find solutions that make sense. He strives to find legal solutions that are not only correct, but are cost-effective and create legal resources for his clients that pay real dividends.
